Getting Here: Parking and Transit
Parking Options
As we are located in downtown Denver, parking may be limited. Please allow extra time to find a spot. Please plan ahead.
- Garage: Free parking spots are available to customers on a first-come, first-served basis in the 5th Street Parking garage on the third floor.
- Metered and Street Parking
- Metered parking is available on 5th Street. Parking meters are managed by the City of Denver, and all applicable laws regarding parking apply (including street sweeping and adhering to time frames).
- The City of Denver uses Smart Meters to make parking in Denver easier. Smart Meters are electronic meters that accept the payment that's easiest for you, including credit/debit cards, coins, and the PayByPhone app.
- DOR does not offer validated parking, but customers are encouraged to utilize the free first-come, first-served parking spots in the garage.
Public Transportation
Customers may use the light rail and/or bus to get to the Denver Regional Service Center (DRSC). Always check rtd-denver.com for approximate fares, schedules, and routes.
- Light Rail: options include taking the E, D, or W lines to the Auraria West Station. Plan for a 5-minute walk to the Denver Regional Service Center (DRSC) from the light rail stop.
- Bus: The closest bus stop to the DRSC is the Auraria Pkwy & 7th Avenue stop, serviced by the 1, 15L, and 20 bus lines. Plan for a 10-minute walk to the Denver Regional Service Center (DRSC) from the bus stop.

Fifty free parking spots are available to customers on a first-come, first-served basis in the 5th Street Parking garage, on the third floor.
