About the Reports
The motor fuel consumption reports compile the gallons per fuel type reported by every licensed distributor, supplier, carrier, exporter, importer, blender, refiner, and terminal operator of motor fuels in Colorado. Starting in 2022, Revenue Online is the system distributors and carriers use to submit this information to CDOR. For 2021 and prior, distributors and carriers used the Colorado Fuel Tracking System. The passage of House Bill 21-1322, which took effect January 1, 2022, changed many aspects of fuel excise tax.
